Description
- Bioactive glass that stimulates natural bone formation
- Available in 2 types: granules (53% SiO2, 23% Na2O, 20% CaO, 4% P2O5) and putty (53% SiO2, 23% Na2O, 20% CaO, 4% P2O5 + Polyethylene glycols (PEGs) and glycerol)
- Granule size: 0.5-0.8mm, 1.0-2.0mm, 2.0-3.15mm
- Proven inhibition of bacterial activity (for granules) Gram+ and Gram- bacteria, resistant to methicillin (MRSA, MRSE)
- Granules are indicated for osteomyelitis and diabetic foot
- The invasive medical sectors of use include: Trauma, Orthopaedic, Spine, Neurosurgery, Bone infection, Benign bone tumour, Mastoid Surgery
